A possibility that we could have a Wembley trip sealed by this time next week. Here's the scenario - and it ain't that remote a possibility. Blues beat Derby Pompey beat Soton Blues draw Pompey in the 6th Round Pompey lose the High Court case next Wednesday. The result, Portsmouth cease to exist and Blues march through to the semis which of course will be played at Wembley. |

if that happens I'll definitely need a lie down, at the thought of a trip to Wembley, but it is an interesting scenario oh god could I bear disappointment at the semi final stage again |

No, they were knocked out before the winding-up. If Soton had a case then so would the 3rd and 4th round opponents of Pompey which is why the ruling is clear cut - a bye. If Soton and Pompey go to a replay then the tie will still be live at the time of the winding-up order so Soton would go through. |

I guarantee if we beat Derby we'll get Man City or Chelsea away next Round. |

The scenario is all well and good (well on the premise of being in the semi-final). But I really do see Southampton beating them |

after 2 visits already, i definatly prefer the old wembley. the new one lacks atmosphere. (whoever plays there). and how ever good the new stadium is it is still in the same old dump. should have been built near the NEC. |

Home - must be due a home tie by now. Would prefer to avoid Man C and Chelski but apart from that don't fear any of them. |
